Abstract: Thesis is dedicated to one of the topical issues - analysis of industrial policy impact on the manufacturing sector of Kyrgyzstan. Sufficient amount of scientific material was processed at high theoretical and methodological level. This work consists of an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion. In the introduction, the actuality of research topics is justified, as well as the stated goal and objectives of the thesis, and the provisions for the defense. In the first chapter, theoretical background is considered. The second chapter analyzed the main stages of development of manufacturing sector and the implementation of industrial policies. In the third chapter of the thesis we analyzed the effect of industrial policy on the selected 11 manufacturing industries using strongly balanced panel data with 220 observations provided by the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyz Republic and UNIDO statistics. Several econometric estimation methods were incorporated. The estimation results identified the statistically significant negative correlation between dependent and independent variable. Therefore, the study identified that government subsides considered as industrial policy have negative impact on the production volume of manufacturing sector.
