There are several papers on beef production in other countries, but there is a lack of empirical research for Kyrgyzstan. The study is significant for its contribution to understanding the value chain of beef production in the country which is important from an economic and food security perspective. By examining factors influencing beef value formation, this research aims to identify the weaknesses and opportunities of beef production in the country. This research uses mixed methods approach to examine the main factors influencing beef value formation.
