dc.description.abstract | This paper is a cross sectional study analyzing the effect of Economic, Political, and Socio-demographic factors by age, gender, marital status and income groups affecting the migration decision making of Afghan people. The data is a micro data based on survey of Afghan people 2018, conducted by Asia Foundation Afghanistan. The estimation technique used is Logistic regression at its margins. Dependent variable is a binary variable consist of 0 and 1 values. 1 is willingness to migrate and 0 is willingness to stay in the country. And independent variables are divided into 3 groups, economic factors, political factors and socio-demographic factors. The main finding shows that the impact of political and socio-demographic factors is higher than the economic factors on decision making of migration. | en_US |
