Seven years after the tragic events of June 2010 in southern Kyrgyzstan, despite the said ethnic conflict having received extensive attention from the media, international human rights organizations and academia, it remains one of the most ignored and silenced topics in the contemporary history of the region. The role of the than mayor of the Osh city Melisbek Myrzakmatov in the bloody events is one of the topics which remains untouched.
